The City of Pueblo is located in Southern Colorado approximately 115 miles south of Denver. Nestled in the Banana Belt, Pueblo is known for its 300 days of sunshine and its famous Pueblo Green Chile, which is a staple in Pueblo cuisine. Every summer, Pueblo hosts the Chile and Frijoles Festival, Colorado State Fair and many other events which attract thousands of Colorado natives and visitors alike. Pueblo is also the hometown of four Medal of Honor recipients, earning the pseudoname Home of the Heroes.
Aside from the rich culture and spicy chile, Pueblo has a wide range of affordable housing options in both suburban and country-side neighborhoods, with most of Colorado accessible within a one to three hour drive. Pueblo City Schools and Pueblo County Schools also offer a wide range of educational options.
