The Program Executive Office, Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives
(PEO ACWA), is responsible for destroying the remaining 10% of the U.S. chemical weapons stockpile located in Pueblo, Colorado and Richmond, Kentucky.
At the
Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant
, known as PCAPP,
neutralization followed by biotreatment
will be used to destroy the mustard-filled chemical weapons stockpile stored at the U.S. Army Pueblo Chemical Depot (PCD).
